Forshaws Solicitors Civil Litigation Stephen Lawson

Stephen, admitted in 1984, heads the Civil Litigation department at Forshaws, and is known throughout the UK as a passionate and dedicated litigator.

To date, Stephen has experience in personal injury claims, fatal accident claims, inheritance disputes, and professional negligence and is increasingly gaining a national reputation for his work with Child Support Agency (CSA) claims.

To keep his finger on the pulse with all the latest developments, Stephen sits on the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) National Executive Committee and Resolution National Committee for CSA and Maintenance. He is a member of the prestigious Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (only approximately 250 solicitors nationwide have satisfied the demanding membership requirements). Stephen was recently named ‘The Times’ Lawyer of the Week.

In addition Stephen also lectures for various Law Societies and is a legal author having written articles for The Times, PI Focus, Child’s Pay and Family Law. He is also the consulting Editor for the APIL PI focus publication.
